Beck Depression Inventory - II (BDI - II)

Assesses intensity of key depressive symptoms

Based on DSM-IV criteria, the Beck Depression Inventory® sensitively asks patients to assess their intensity of key symptoms such as sadness, pessimism, guilt, loss of pleasure, criticalness and suicidal thoughts, to support the practitioner in correctly identifying and diagnosing depression.


AREAS OF APPLICATION

The BDI-II is useful in any setting where it is necessary to assess the intensity of depression.


REPORT OPTIONS

  • Interpretive Report: provides the assessment results, interpretation of results and items endorsed by the client from a single administration.

  • Progress Report: provides an overview of change over time by combining candidate results from multiple administrations.
