Ethics is blurrier than fiction: Exploring informed consent

Explore ethical principles, theories, and concepts through movies.

e-Learning

This module demonstrates the different facets and nuances related to individuals giving consent to share their personal information with other individuals or organisations. Informed consent means that sufficient information is provided to the individual to make an informed decision, but that may not always be the case. Also, the individual does not always understand the information they are consenting to share or the implications of that information. The movie The Circle is used to discuss this concept.

Includes 10 quiz questions.
