In business ethics, do the means justify the ends, or do the ends justify the means? Looking at the concept of ‘utilitarianism’, how strictly should the following rule be adhered to? That is, is unethical behaviour acceptable if the results are in the interest of the ‘greater good’?  Should we focus on the actions, or should we focus on the outcome? The movie The Art of Racing in the Rain is used to discuss this concept.
