Frequently Asked Questions


If you select Open Invitation and a candidate experiences any network problems during the assessment, all answered questions will be lost and the candidate will have to restart the assessment.

Selecting the Personal Invitation, will ensure your candidate can log onto their assessment again and complete only unanswered questions

  1. Log onto your EQ-i 2.0 portal (Login details were e-mailed to you by our JvR’s Client Service)
  2. On the My Assessments tab; click on the EQ-i 2.0 icon
  3. On the left hand side of the screen, click on Invite
  4. Click on ‘Personal Invitation’ – Recommended
  5. Select the language you want the invitation to be in
  6. Click Next
  7. Enter the candidates’ e-mail address, first name and surname.
    NB! DO NOT add an ID number, unless you want the ID number to replace the candidates’ name and surname on their report
  8. Click on Add to list
  9. Click Next
  10. Select or add a folder name
  11. Click Next
  12. Select the invitation you wish to send to the candidate
  13. Scroll down to Optional Settings
  14. Click on Notifications – enter your name and email, this allows you to receive a notification once the candidate completed the EQ assessment
  15. Click Next
  16. Confirm settings
  17. Adjust your default e-mail address, unless you have done this step before
  18. Select Send Email

Hogan

Contact our JvR’s Client Services to obtain your username and follow the Forgot Password prompt on your Hogan portal.
Get Hogan ID

Hogan

  1. Log onto your JvR Online portal (Login details were e-mailed to you from jvronline@jvrafrica.co.za)

  2. Once logged on, click on MANAGE PARTICIPANT
  3. Search for your candidates’ name by using the filters – user ID; name or surname, etc.
  4. Click on GO
  5. Click on the PARTICIPANT ID on the left of the candidates’ name, whom you wish to generate a report for
  6. Click on PARTICIPANT SUMMARY REPORT
  7. Click on VIEW REPORT to download the report

If the assessment status is pending, the candidate hasn’t completed the assessment or they haven’t submitted their responses.

  1. Click on Projects / New Projects
  2. Complete all sections to set up a link with the specific assessment/s that your candidate/s need to complete
    If you select ‘e-mail reports on completion’; you will automatically receive the report as soon as the candidate submits the assessment.
    NB! Please ensure that you do not provide the link to anyone that shouldn’t be completing this assessment, since you will be invoiced for all reports generated.
  3. Provide the link to your candidate/s. They will register themselves on the system and complete the assessments that were linked to the project you created

  3. Provide the created link to your candidate
  4. Your candidate will register themselves as a user

JvR Online

  1. Log onto your JvR Online portal (Login details were e-mailed to you from jvronline@jvrafrica.co.za)

  2. Once logged on, click on MANAGE PARTICIPANT
  3. Click on REPORT GENERATION
  4. Select the project you created by clicking on the drop-down list
  5. Select the options that correlate to the report you want generated
  6. On the right hand side, tick next to the candidate name/s you wish to report on
  7. NB: Click on the option DOWNLOAD REPORTS DIRECTLY – in the bottom left corner
  8. Click on REPORT ON SELECTED
  9. A small screen will open, asking you to confirm the report generation. Select CONTINUE and wait while the report is generated
